“Starting as just a freshman in high school with a desire to work, I never knew the opportunity I was given would take me this far, allowing me to cook and be in the presence of mayors, senators, first responders, and many others with influence—some of whom I’ve formed personal bonds with, which I value deeply. Blessed with the gift of cooking, I chose to pursue my craft, which began with preparing breakfast for my mom each morning before heading to school. She would critique my efforts honestly every day, undoubtedly one of my harshest critics, yet also my greatest supporter not only as an entrepreneur, but as a father and as a young man who prides himself on morals, principles, integrity, and character. She continually challenged me while offering unwavering support as I evolved in my culinary journey. Lastly, I would like to add that I’m very grateful and, ultimately, would like to thank God that I was able to acquire and understand not only my purpose in life but my passion”.
